    Cognitive Dissidence
The collection "Cognitive Dissidence" explores the meaning of thoughtful dissent in terms of personal revolutions, the resistance of sub-cultures and the impact of listening to the voices of the unheard. The name of the collection comes from the term "Cognitive Dissonance" which was expounded on by Frantz Fanon in his examination of post-colonialism, critical theory and Marxism.

Cognitive dissidence is the antithesis of Cognitive dissonance. It is the process by which we overcome adversity, identify systemic inequalities, find our voices and seek change.
